Finally got myself a 10 stop long exposure filter. I used it in this image, along with some ND Grads which balances out the bright sunshine.

Was in Sydney for the day with the family and I splashed out on a Hoya ND400 filter to enable me to do long exposures like this shot. the ND400 blocks out a lot of light and makes 25 or 30 second exposures possible in broad daylight. Lots of fun.

Summertime fun

We’re lucky enough to live on a river and next to the ocean here in Shoalhaven Heads. Josh had his mate over and we headed to the wharf so they could muck about in the kayak. Afterwards they did a bit of wharf-jumping in time-honoured fashion.

Forced myself to go somewhere different last night, instead of doing more river shots. So I headed north to Gerroa to see what sunset’s like there. Shot this looking south towards Mount Coolangatta.
